Clarity Research offers a wide range of research services from study design and execution through analysis and reporting. Several of these services are described below. Product Development ResearchWe conduct product clinics for durable goods such as motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft, utility vehicles, automobiles, lawn and garden tractors and household appliances. We do this throughout the United States and other countries as well. Studies focus on various aspects of product research including concept evaluation, consumer design preferences, strengths, weaknesses, image, pricing and volume assessment. Data are collected via respondent-administered, hand-held computers. Pricing ResearchWe conduct pricing studies using full profile and choice-based conjoint research designs to address a wide range of price related questions. We can design output to allow "what-if" price scenario simulations, profit maximization strategies, options bundling strategies, price sensitivity curves and more. We are also experienced with other pricing research strategies such as the Van Westendorp PSM, brand-price tradeoff (BPTO) and rotated monadic designs. Brand ResearchWhat is our brand awareness and image? What personality characteristics does our brand maintain? How does our brand fit with potential product line extensions? These are research issues we regularly deal with. Event-Based ResearchEvent-based research is an effective way to identify and interview people with high-involvement in your product category. Auto shows, motorcycle events, races, car cruises, and home & garden shows all provide wonderful venues for finding high-involvement consumers.
